ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT / PAYROLL
Job Description
THE ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT / PAYROLL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCURATELY AND CONFIDENTIALLY PREPARING PAYROLL CHECKS AND BENEFIT DEDUCTIONS FOR EMPLOYEES. ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS CRUCIAL IN THE ROLE AS YOU WILL BE SERVING AS BACKUP FOR OTHER POSITIONS WITHIN THE OFFICE.
Job Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
Must be able to manage multiple concurrent task in dynamic environment.
Highly detail oriented, organized, able to meet deadlines and a team player.
Ability to manage sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
General office experience - especially Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of payroll, garnishments, and benefit solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of HR/Payroll systems functions required. Paycom experience preferred.
Pay is $17 to $20 per hour based on experience and education.
