Job Description
The Assistant Chef will be helping the Head Chef. The Assistant Chef will be cleaning, preparing food and cooking.
This employee will work mostly Saturdays and Sundays. Approximately 20 hours a week.
Job Responsibilities:
Communicate efficiently with the head chef. Cleaning throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Prepare foods. Cook foods (such as sandwiches and bar food). Operate kitchen equipment properly. Keep the kitchen area clean and well organized. Put inventory away as needed. Notify the head chef if there is low inventory. Follow all food safety policies and procedures. Listens and follows directions. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Previous kitchen experience is preferred. Excellent time management skills. Ability to listen and follow direction. Maintains maturity and professionalism in all situations. Gets along well with others. Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds unassisted. Must be able to stand, bend, reach, rotate, squat and twist.
