Job Description
The cashier will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders from customers and prepare the order. They will provide customer service to guests.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they enter the caf . Provide customer service. Answer questions from customers. Take food and beverage orders from customers ensuring order accuracy. Prepare the order and serve it to the customer. Operate a point-of-sale system. Operate equipment required for preparing food. Ensure that equipment is working order. Maintain food safety standards. Accept payment from customers. Keep inventory levels filled for items that are used consistently. Clean and organize dining and kitchen areas. Notify management of food or beverage shortages. Follow all policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Ability to remain professional at all times and provide exceptional customer service. Basic math skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while remaining professional and polite. Excellent time management skills. Ability to lift up to 35+ pounds unassisted.
Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service is preferred.
