COUNTER SALES/WAREHOUSE
Job Description
Are you energetic and ready to learn? This position might be perfect for you. You will learn about warehouse operations and sales.
The Counter Sales associate will be responsible for providing expert knowledge of products while also providing excellent customer service. They will also be working in the Warehouse throughout the day.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting customers by properly identifying needed items, using parts catalogs and computer system, billing merchandise orders, and making necessary entries to the inventory control system. Fills customers orders from stock. Receives and ships parts as needed. Prepares computerized invoices. Receives payment or obtains credit authorization. Advises customer on substitution or modification of items when replacement is not available. Maintains a clean and safe counter area. Assists with annual physical inventory. Lifting and sorting inventory in the warehouse areas. Moving items/inventory as needed, utilizing proper warehouse equipment to include forklifts and hand trucks. Practices safe lifting techniques. Wear all required PPE to include steel/composite toed boots. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service to all customers and vendors. Maintains professionalism in all situations. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Excellent organization and communication skills. Broad experience with computer skills. Mathematical skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups and/or individuals. Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds unassisted. Ability to stand for the majority of the shift, squat, kneel, bend, twist, reach, lift and stoop. Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees, supervisors, managers, customers, vendors, etc.
