CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCE - FULL-TIME
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian / Janitor to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Duties include sweeping, mopping, floor care, carpet cleaning, bathroom sanitation, and kitchen area upkeep. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a commitment to cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily janitorial and custodial tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies, and maintain overall hygiene standards.
Maintain kitchen and breakroom cleanliness, ensuring all surfaces and appliances are clean and sanitary.
Empty trash cans, bag waste for disposal, and transport trash to designated dumpster areas.
Operate and maintain custodial equipment such as floor buffers, carpet shampooers, and vacuum cleaners.
Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to the appropriate staff.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Clean background is required.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or facilities maintenance is a plus.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper equipment use preferred.
