Job Description

The Dining Center Manager will maintain the overall management responsibilities for the dining area(s). This employee will be responsible for managing the employees at two locations. This will include cooks, servers and cashiers.

Job Responsibilities:
Work with the corporate office to interview and hire adequate staff. Maintain a working relationship with management and crew. Create employee schedules to ensure that all shifts are adequately staffed. Conduct a weekly team meeting with employees. Attend a weekly manager meeting. Prepare reports and present information during meetings. Maintain reports and records based on established procedures and standards. Complete reports and records accurately and in a timely manner. Manage all products: ordering, inventory, quality checks. Ensure that all sanitation and safety procedures and policies are in place and are being followed. Ensure that all cash procedures and policies are being followed. Maintain the company standards for food, costs, sales and labor. Observe all personnel at the beginning of shift for compliance with appearance and company uniform standards. Inform personnel of any menu and/or price changes. Count money and make bank deposits. Enforce company policies and procedures. Investigate and resolve customer complaints. Coordinates and supervises the cleaning and maintenance of the facilities and equipment. Follows all food safety rules and regulations. Provides customer service and positive interactions with students, faculty and parents. Maintains professionalism and courtesy at all times. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Management experience is preferred. Possess a valid up-to-date driver s license and reliable transportation. Experience with food preparation and sales is preferred. Ability to interact with students, faculty, and parents in a positive manner. Maintain professionalism at all times. Computer skills. Ability to utilize computer software to prepare reports and/or correspondence. Ability to adapt or adjust quickly. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to measure performance thoroughly. Ability to maintain confidentiality and display ethical behavior in all business dealings. Have an open and flexible schedule. Ability to obtain ServSafe certification.
