CLASS B CDL DRIVER
Job Description
We are seeking a Class B CDL Driver to transport hazardous materials (hazmat), non-hazardous and universal waste materials safely and efficiently. This role requires strict adherence to DOT and OSHA regulations, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service. Drivers will also be responsible for loading and unloading freight using a forklift and manual handling equipment such as a dolly. Occasional overnight travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport materials to various locations following all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Load and unload trucks using a forklift and manual handling equipment.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Accurately complete all required delivery paperwork, manifests, and logs.
Mark and label all material. Segregate and package non-shippable material.
Maintain excellent communication with dispatch and customers.
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures for hazardous material handling.
Perform general tasks at customer sites to include sampling, cleaning tanks/vessel, industrial cleaning, pressure washing, removing piping/equipment, pumping containers/tanks. All other tasks as assigned.
Always wear the appropriate PPE while performing duties.
Occasionally spend the night out of town.

Job Requirements
Must be 21 years or older.
Valid state-issued class B commercial driver s license with a clean driving record.
Must have or be able to obtain Hazardous Materials Endorsement and Tank Endorsement.
Forklift certified (or willingness to become certified upon hire).
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and operate a dolly. Must be able to occasionally push and/or pull 450 lbs or greater with the use of a dolly or pallet jack.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, crawl and balance.
Experience with hazmat transportation preferred but not required (training available).
General computer knowledge and problem-solving skills preferred.
