EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/WATER TECHNICIAN
Job Description
This employee will be responsible for properly operating different heavy equipment. They will read blueprints and ensure that the work is being completed correctly and in a timely manner. They will also understand water systems and the maintenance that is required for such.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment properly and effectively. Read blueprints and ensure that they are being followed. Complete routine maintenance on the equipment. Such as checking water, tire pressure, oil, etc. Ensure the appropriate movement of materials. Installing and repairing equipment. Utilize tools and equipment. Performing routing maintenance on water systems. Gather samples. Keep records of completed work. Inspect and research. Communicate effectively with other employees and supervisors. Wear all required PPE. Work with others to ensure the job is being completed quickly and accurately. Follow all safety policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Knowledge and experience of operating heavy equipment is required. Must be provable. Knowledge of water system installation and repair is preferred.
Ability to operate heavy equipment properly and in a safe manner. Ability to read blueprints and make decisions to ensure the job gets completed accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds unassisted. Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop, climb and twist. Ability to work the required shift and extended hours when necessary. Ability to work well with others and follow directions. Excellent communication and time management skills.
