Job Description
We are looking to hire an Estimator to join our team. The Estimator is responsible for providing accurate estimations of construction costs and the creation of detailed project budgets. You will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documents in order to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documents to prepare time, cost and labor estimates
2. Create detailed project budgets based on estimations
3. Develop cost estimates for all phases of construction projects including labor, materials and equipment needed
4. Analyze engineering drawings to determine the best approach for completing a project within budget constraints
5. Review contractor bid proposals to ensure accuracy of budget estimates
6. Prepare estimates for change orders as required throughout the course of a project
7. Provide ongoing updates regarding changes in cost estimates over the course of a project
8. Monitor progress of projects and adjust estimations as needed.
