FACILITY MAINTENANCE
Job Description
Are you a skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, functional, and welcoming? We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities and Operations Department. In this hands-on role, you will help ensure our students, staff, and visitors have a clean, secure, and efficient learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance across district facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance requests
Inspect school buildings and systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and storm preparation
Support custodial teams with larger maintenance needs
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and systems serviced
Ensure tools, equipment, and workspaces are used safely and maintained in good condition
Collaborate with contractors and vendors when specialized services are required
Provide input on facility improvement projects and long-term maintenance planning

Job Requirements
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years' experience in facilities maintenance, building repair, or related trade
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
Valid driver s license with clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Must be able to pass a drug screening and a background check.
