FOOD SERVICE MANAGER

The Food Service Manager will maintain the overall management responsibilities for the Dining area.
Provide customer service. Greet guests as they arrive to the dining center. Work with corporate/upper management to ensure that staffing needs are met. Interview and hire adequate staff to cover all areas of the dining center. Maintain relationships with staff, management and customers. Conduct weekly team meetings. Ensure that proper training requirements are being met and that the staff is following all required rules and regulations concerning food safety and company procedures. Attend weekly manager meetings. Maintain reports and records. Ensure that reports are completed in a timely manner. Manage all products, this will include: ordering, inventory and quality checks. Ensure that all sanitation, safety and security procedures are being followed. Ensure that all cash procedures are being followed. Maintain company targets and standards for food costs, sales and labor. Observe all staff to ensure compliance with appearance and uniform standards. Keep staff informed of any changes. Count money and make deposits at the bank. Handle customer complaints. All other duties as assigned.
Employee should be dependable, honest and have integrity. Excellent time management skills. Math skills. Ability to create reports, data entry, order supplies, etc. Excellent communication skills. Ability to remain professional at all times. Ability to train employees.
Provable knowledge and experience with managing a kitchen/dining facility. An Associate s Degree in a related field or extensive experience is required.
