Job Description
The forklift operator will be responsible for the safe operation of power industrial trucks pertaining to line delivery, takeaway, shipping and receiving.
Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift. Move products to and from the operating production line. Perform safety checks of the lift before and after use to ensure that it is fully operational. Load and unload trucks. Communicate effectively with Leads and other employees. Ensure pathways are clear of people and/or debris. Report any equipment issues with supervisor immediately. Follow all safety, quality and production policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Practical experience with a 4 fork forklift is required (3-5 years experience is preferred).
Must have knowledge of warehouse and/or production facilities procedures and policies. Possess excellent communication skills. Basic math skills. Ability to lift up to 40+ pounds unassisted. Ability to make decisions that are effective and responsible. Ability to turn, twist, bend and have good vision. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Works well with others. Excellent time management. Ability to remain focused and work independently.
