Job Description
FORKLIFT OPERATORS WILL EFFICIENTLY SORT, HANDLE, LOAD AND UNLOAD PALLETIZED AND NON-PALLETIZED FREIGHT USING THE APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT. PIT OPERATORS WILL LOAD AND UNLOAD ENCLOSED TRAILERS SAFELY WHILE ACCURATELY WHILE PAYING STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
Job Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Complete all relevant paperwork and update inventory systems.
Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using the appropriate equipment. Unload and load enclosed trailers safely and accurately. Use devices to scan incoming/outgoing product to help maintain an accurate shipment and/or inventory.
Utilize motorized and manual equipment as necessary to include: pallet jack and forklift.
Report any equipment issues or problems to supervisors immediately.
Maintain a clean, organized and efficient workspace.
All other duties as assigned.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
