HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Job Description
This position operates light to heavy equipment with a minimal background in equipment operations of up to two years' experience.
Job Requirements
Major Duties
Operates light to heavy equipment in the maintenance and repair of construction sites.
Ability to learn to operate skid steer loader, backhoe, farm tractors with side-boom mower and rear mower, front-end loader, and other types of heavy and light equipment.
Operates a variety of hand and power tools, including chain saw, pole saw, weed eater, leaf blower, shovel, rake, shop brooms, etc.
Unloads and loads equipment for transport.
Assists in traffic control at work sites.
Performs pre- and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
Use single axle dump truck to transport materials to and from work sites.
Requirements
Valid Drivers License
Clean Criminal History
