The Staffing People is now hiring for a full-time Maintenance Planner Assistant in Americus, Georgia. This position supports the daily operations of a busy maintenance storeroom and is ideal for someone with a clerical background who is highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Job Requirements
As a Maintenance Planner Assistant, you will help track and organize all inventory, parts, and supplies in the maintenance storeroom. You ll work closely with the Maintenance Planner to ensure the storeroom is well-maintained and fully stocked. Your responsibilities will include maintaining records of items, labeling and categorizing parts, updating inventory logs, and assisting with incoming and outgoing supplies. You will also be expected to handle basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management related to maintenance scheduling and planning. Light lifting will be required, with the ability to handle boxes or parts up to 25 pounds. This role offers the perfect balance of office support work and hands-on activity in a warehouse-like environment.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience in clerical or administrative work, preferably in a maintenance, industrial, or warehouse setting. Strong organizational skills, comfort with computers and spreadsheets, and the ability to manage time efficiently are all important to succeed in this role.
