Job Requirements
As a Fabrication Technician, you will be responsible for performing TIG and MIG welding to create and assemble metal components according to detailed customer specifications. You will follow dimensional drawings and technical schematics to ensure precise assembly and fabrication of various parts. You ll also help maintain accurate job hour logs and contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of production. This position requires the ability to follow instructions closely, work independently, and solve problems as they arise during the fabrication process.
Candidates must have previous fabrication and assembly experience, along with strong skills in both MIG and TIG welding specifically with aluminum, steel, and stainless steel materials. The ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings is essential. You must be able to work on your feet in a moderately active environment that includes standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, and crouching throughout the shift. The job also requires lifting or moving items weighing over 50 pounds.
