INSTALLATION ASSISTANT/GENERAL LABOR
Job Description
Mechanically inclined and want to learn a new trade? This position if for you. They will provide the training needed to excel in this position. There is room to grow and become a technician.
This employee will be installing roll up doors and garage doors. When they are not installing doors they will be providing support in the warehouse/yard.
Job Responsibilities:
Move materials, as directed, into other locations and/or unloading or loading materials onto trucks. Use equipment and tools properly and efficiently to complete the job in a timely manner. Ensure that all equipment and tools are stored properly in their place. Assist with inventory. To include: physical inventory checks, product checks and cycle counts. Install garage doors. Follow all company guidelines and ensure customer satisfaction. Install components for garage doors. Ensure that all components are installed and work properly. Keep work areas clean and free of debris. Follow all established safety policies and procedures.
All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Warehouse experience with forklift experience is preferred. Knowledge of tools and equipment used for installation is preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend work orders. Experience with computers. Ability to stand for the majority of the shift and move freely. To include: lifting, reaching, bending, climbing and kneeling. Ability to lift up to 75+ pounds. Excellent time management skills. Ability to follow directions and maintain professionalism in all situations.
