Job Description
We are seeking a professional, motivated, and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for promoting available properties, responding to prospective residents, conducting property tours, processing rental applications, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and sales skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with prospective and current residents. A minimum of 10 years of customer service experience is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other commonly used office applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet and professionally assist prospective and current residents with leasing inquiries.
Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, website inquiries, and walk-in traffic.
Market available apartment homes and promote property amenities, features, and community benefits.
Conduct professional property and apartment tours for prospective residents.
Explain rental rates, lease terms, community policies, application requirements, and move-in procedures.
Process rental applications, lease agreements, renewals, and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
Follow up with prospective residents to convert leads into qualified leases.
Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, resident information, applications, and correspondence.
Utilize property management and leasing software to maintain prospect and resident information.
Provide exceptional customer service and address resident questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with resident retention initiatives, lease renewals, and community engagement.
Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing laws, company policies, leasing procedures, and applicable housing regulations.
Assist with marketing efforts, resident communications, and community outreach.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent the property and management company positively.
Perform administrative duties using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications.
Work collaboratively with property management and maintenance teams to support overall community operations.

Job Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of customer service experience required.
Previous leasing, property management, apartment management, real estate, sales, or hospitality experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service, sales, and interpersonal skills.
Professional, friendly, and positive demeanor.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information appropriately.
Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and leasing practices is preferred.
