Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will provide excellent customer service, identity a customer s needs and promptly and courteously provide service. The CSR will maintain relationships with customers and carriers.

Promptly and effectively deal with a high volume of incoming/outgoing calls. Maintain relationships with carriers and customers, providing excellent customer service to both. Solve any issues and/or problems that arise. Set up shipments, receive shipments, create the proper shipping documentation for carriers. Keep work area organized and efficient. Complete paperwork correctly and in a timely manner. Maintain all files accurately and efficiently. Effectively utilize a computer throughout the day, to include working with Microsoft Office programs, data entry, and other computer programs. All other duties as assigned. Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized, on-task and maintaining professionalism. Experience with data entry, computer programs, Microsoft Office programs and customer service is required. Ability to type proficiently and accurately is required. Logistical experience is preferred, but not required. Basic math skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively communicate information to clients and customers in a professional manner.
