Job Description
We are hiring an experienced CNC Brake Press Operator for a full-time position at our manufacturing facility located in Americus, GA. This is a great opportunity for individuals with CNC brake press experience who are looking for stable, long-term employment in the South Georgia region.
Job Requirements
The CNC Brake Press Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC brake press machines to bend and form metal parts based on engineering drawings and specifications. The successful candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, adjust machine settings, monitor production quality, and perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment. Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges is necessary to ensure all products meet exact specifications. Strong communication skills and a focus on safety and teamwork are also essential.
Applicants should have previous experience operating CNC brake presses in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. A strong understanding of CNC controls, blueprint reading, and metal forming techniques is preferred. This is a hands-on role with consistent hours and required attention to detail.
We are located in Americus, Georgia, and this position is ideal for candidates living in Sumter County, as well as nearby areas including Albany, Cordele, Perry, Leesburg, and Macon, GA. Our facility is easily accessible and offers a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
