Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of the grounds and units at an apartment complex.
Job Responsibilities:
Responding to maintenance requests. Ensuring that maintenance requests are handled promptly and that all maintenance has been completed. Keeping records of all maintenance performed and materials used to complete the maintenance. Performing inspections of the grounds and of units. Cleaning any trash and/or debris from vacated units. Cleaning units to prepare them for new tenants. Ensuring the proper usage of tools. Performing repairs and/or preventive maintenance to HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, etc. Painting units in preparation for new tenants. Communicating with tenants, employees and supervisor(s). All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Previous experience as a maintenance technician or similar position is required. Knowledge of maintenance systems to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and cleaning.
Ability to communicate and complete written reports. Ability to understand written and/or verbal instructions. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to make decisions and execute the work. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds unassisted. Ability to walk and/or stand for the majority of the shift. Ability to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary.
