MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented technician who thrives in a high-volume production environment.
As a Maintenance Technician, you ll be responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment, machinery, and systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal efficiency. From hydraulics and pneumatics to electrical systems and PLCs, your technical skills will help power our production process forward.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to. Other duties may be assigned.
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment; including daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Sets up and operates machine tools related to maintenance/fabrication complying with safety and proper use.
Determine material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Transfers equipment and personnel from projects as necessary.
Maintain well-documented system of maintenance and repair records.
Source materials and /or equipment needed for maintenance.
Participates in building and facilities maintenance and repair (if applicable by site).
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 4 years as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or production facility.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
Preventive Maintenance: Proven ability to execute and document preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment failure and downtime.
Troubleshooting: Fast and accurate diagnostics and repair skills for a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment.
Certifications: Technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience preferred (e.G., Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology).
Tools & Equipment: Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and industrial diagnostic equipment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in a standing, kneeling, or crouched position for extended periods.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Safety: Commitment to following OSHA and company safety guidelines in all aspects of the job.
