Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production MIG Welder to join our fast-paced, safety-driven manufacturing team in Americus, Georgia. This is a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented welder who takes pride in producing high-quality, precision work using MIG welding techniques.
Job Requirements
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components from various metals based on blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols. You ll work closely with other team members to meet production targets while ensuring each weld meets quality and safety standards.
This position is ideal for welders with experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment who are skilled in operating welding equipment, inspecting joints, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. You ll also have the opportunity to enhance your skills through ongoing training.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on metal components as outlined in production plans
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to understand job requirements
Set up, adjust, and maintain MIG welding equipment for efficient operation
Inspect welds for strength and accuracy to meet industry and internal quality standards
Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary corrections
Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a clean, organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and daily production goals
Participate in training to stay up-to-date on techniques and procedures
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Americus, GA
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience
Work Environment: Industrial manufacturing facility with safety-first culture
Candidates must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. Basic welding tools knowledge and prior MIG welding experience are required.
