The preferred candidate will set up, coordinate, and control the office side of outgoing and incoming shipments. This will include contacting freight and parcel company to obtain competitive quotes. Candidate will set-up the shipment with selected company, issue PO, generate BOL, and packing lists. Candidate will contact customer to advise of impending shipment, and/or track shipments and communicate with customer and/or internal staff with regard to impending delivery. Candidate will work to control freight and parcel costs. Candidate will work with freight and parcel companies to remedy billing disputes. Other responsibilities will include general office duties as required during the course of business operations, such as assisting accounts payable and receivable team members.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma.
Two Years of College level courses.
Two Years of experience in an office environment with experience in freight and parcel documentation.
MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and general computer and internet skills.

Starting wage of $20.00 per hour dependent upon experience and ability, with increases as candidate illustrates competency.
