Job Description
HAVING KNOWLEDGE OF INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND SHIPPING PROCESSES. RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING AND RECEIVING PARTS WITH UPS AND FREIGHT.
Job Requirements
Comparing identifying information and counting items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, orders, or other records.
Determining whether inbound shipments are for stock or the Tank shop and distributing the parts to the correct location.
Keeping the parts room clean and always organized.
Cycle Counting daily to maintain an accurate inventory and develop corrective actions for all inventory variances.
Stocking shelves accurately and neatly.
Operating forklift to load and unload LTL carriers.
Running order reports to determine stocking levels and maintain a sufficient supply of high moving parts.
Ensuring all parts that leave the parts room are committed to a Service or Work Order immediately.
Building stock orders.
