Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dough Production Associate to join our food manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you ll be responsible for mixing, preparing, and processing dough to meet daily production targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and consistency. The ideal candidate has experience in food production, bakery operations, or a similar manufacturing environment and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Key responsibilities include operating dough mixers and related equipment, following standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and sanitation standards. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient production area are essential.

Job Responsibilities:
Weigh all the ingredients that have been requested by the supervisor, or that are on the production schedule.
Follow the instructions to make the dough (only for supervisor or designated associate).
Place the bowl in the proofing room, cover with the food grade plastic (blue film).
Set the timer for an alarm with the time requested.
Transfer the bowl from the proofing room to the production room.
Follow the measurements for dough from the sizing guide affixed to the wall.
Remove the dough from the large bowl and place it on the table, request help from other associates.
Cover the dough with food grade plastic (blue color).
Use the scale to measure the large balls.
Use the knife to cut the dough.
Cut the big balls with the manual white dough divider. *Do not place your hand under the dough divider. *
Put the individually cut dough in the dough rounder. *Don t put your hand inside the dough rounder when it is working. *
Place the individual dough balls in the proofing box.
Place the proofing box on the cart.
Place 12 proofing boxes on each cart.
Cover the top proofing box with lid.
Place atop the stack, the label with measure and date.
Place the cart in a proofing room for the time required by the supervisor.
Set the alarm with the time requested. For each cart placed in the proofing room, use a new position in the alarm. (see SOP Alarm Settings for more information)
Transfer the proofing boxes in the walk-in cooler after the time is end.
Entering data into a computer system to accurately reflect inventory.
All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food production facility is preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25lbs.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Must have excellent communication skills. Must have experience utilize data entry systems/typing. Must be able to work independently.

Must be able to work 7 days a week.
