Job Description
The remediation technician will be responsible for assessing and removing contaminants from buildings.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare areas for work. Set up staging areas if needed. Obtain samples of contaminants for further testing. Perform testing on contaminants to determine if they are safe or not. Determine how much damage there is. Assess areas and make determinations based on those assessments. Construct barriers if needed. Offer recommendations to the customers. Clean and sanitize areas. Utilize proper tools and equipment. Wear the proper protective equipment. Perform necessary demolition. Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees. Possess excellent time management skills. Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds unassisted. Ability to make decisions that are effective and responsible. Ability to turn, twist, bend, lift, reach, climb, and crawl. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work with cleaning agents. Ability to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
