SAFETY SUPERVISOR
Job Description
The Safety Supervisor is an influential position dedicated to the development, implementation, and promotion of a safe, accident free, and healthy work environment. The Safety Supervisor will be primarily responsible for establishing and executing safety training programs, investigating safety occurrences, supporting employee's commitment to a safe work environment, and ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Sciences, or related field is preferred.
2+ years supervisory experience in the training and safety field, including the development of employee training programs; accident investigations and evaluations.
Knowledge and demonstrated application of all Federal, State, and local safety regulations.
OSHA 30 certification required, or OSHA 10 with the requirement to complete OSHA 30 within 60 days from hire.
Working knowledge of food safety industry practices and standards.
Computer skills, including MS Office, and the ability to operate general office equipment.
Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
