Job Requirements
As a Shop Helper, you will be responsible for general support duties across the shop floor. This includes organizing materials, sweeping and maintaining cleanliness, and transporting items to various departments as needed. You will also assist with tools and parts, so having a basic understanding of mechanical equipment, parts, and shop operations is essential. The ability to follow instructions, work independently, and learn quickly in a hands-on setting is a must.
This position is physically demanding and requires employees to be on their feet throughout the day. The role involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. You must be capable of frequently lifting and moving items over 50 pounds. The work environment includes exposure to mechanical equipment, moving parts, vibrations, and other shop-related hazards. For safety, all employees must wear company-issued protective gear at all times while inside the facility.
