Job Description
You will be taking part in an active role in the monthly financial close process and financial reportings with a local company in Americus.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
* Prepare, tracks and reports the necessary government and other regulatory reporting requirements
* Prepare accruals and other recurring monthly journal entries assigned as needed
* Perform account reconciliations for assigned accounts monthly
* Perform financial statement analysis for assigned line items monthly
* Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
* Perform ad-hoc analysis on as a needed basis
* Assist in department projects on an as needed basis
Requirements:
* Familiarity with US GAAP
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
* Minimum of 2 year's work experience in accounting
* Strong Excel skills (including vlookups, sumifs, and pivot tables)
