Job Description
THE STAFFING PEOPLE ARE SEEKING A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM. YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PERFORMING STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING DESIGN AND ANALYSIS FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND STRUCTURAL PRECAST CONCRETE MEMBERS. APPLYING THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE OF STRUCTURAL AND CIVIL ENGINEERING CONCEPTS AND PRINCIPALS AS WELL AS THE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE CONSTRUCTION FIELD, TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE POSITION.
Job Requirements
Essential Duties:
Prepare design calculations, reports and spreadsheets in accordance to applicable contract documents.
Perform analysis related to stripping and rigging of precast concrete members.
Conducting Finite Element Analysis on precast concrete members.
Designing and analyzing connections and anchoring both for handling and erecting precast members.
Working with a multidiscipline team to ensure a coordinated design package.
Providing structural engineering support to sales and estimating as needed including reviewing drawings, preliminary design and technical support on sales call
Providing engineering support to quality control and erection processes.
Performing structural modeling using software.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or any related engineering field of study.
P.E. Or S.E. License or ability to become licensed.
Can use Auto CAD software to understand the building geometry and resolve detail conflict.
Salary - $60, 000 to $80, 000 annually
