SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL NUTRITION ASSISTANT
Job Description
At this time, we are looking for substitutes for our School Nutrition Program. The substitutes will fill in when employees have called out.
Are you looking for a job with a flexible schedule or the same schedule as your children or grandchildren? Come be an integral part of the school family. Our food service assistants are the heart of the school. Without our food service assistants our school family would be incomplete.
Substitute School Nutrition Assistants will be providing students with nutritious, well-prepared food. Assistants will follow established procedures in food preparation and serve students/staff the prepared food.
Responsibilities:
Following established procedures, prepare large quantities of food. Follow recipe's and make adjustments based on the amount of food being prepared. Prepare food while maintaining food quality standards and practices. Ensure that food has been prepared properly and is the correct temperature. Ensure that nutrition standards are being met. Clean and sanitize. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Proper lifting techniques. Basic math and cashier skills are preferred. Ability to provide timely service of food for students and staff. Learn the methods and procedures for preparing and serving food in large quantities. Understand and follow oral and written directions.
No experience is necessary. A clean background is required for this position.
